Want to learn programming?

Yesterday I held a presentation for young students in Sandefjord, Norway. The arrangement was EXPO IT, and it was a gathering of some of the major companies around Sandefjord, such as Jotun and Komplett.. The title of my presentation was "How is it to be a programmer", and the idea was to shed some light on how programming really is and the variety of tasks you have to face as a programmer. In this blog-entry you find the presentation. Note that it is in Norwegian. Read more to see the links that I presented as good tools to start with.

I recommend young
programmers-in-spe to start with something like Phrogram or Visual Basic.
You will be able to create applications pretty fast with these development
tools. You can always transcend to languages and development tools for
C and C++ later.

Visual C#

Tusen takk for ros!! Lykke til videre med C++ også. Sjekk foøvrig ut siten CodeProject, som har UTROLIG mange fine artikler, for nybegynnere som videregående. { Link }

The Code Project Newsletter på e-mail.
